Internet Sheep
October 9, 2008 1:34 pm RandomI read this post about Google Trends on Tech Crunch and yes it makes sense. It is supply and demand, what do people want… right lets feed them, but at the same time, this frustrates me no end!
If this is what you do to get traffic then you are just an internet content sheep, one of the million regurgitating other peoples content into something you think you can get away with.
Write about what interests you and what you are passionate about and it will stand out from the rest, become someone to be watched not a reaction to what you think other people think is popular! leave that to the politicians.
If all you’re doing is copying, A. you’ll never be the leader, B. your content will never be original, C. you’ll be getting traffic for traffics sake, as thousands hit your site, realise your rubbish then leave nice visitor/bandwidth spike for the popularity junkies.
